Master Plan RFQ

The Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for professional airport planning services to complete a comprehensive update of the Airport Master Plan and Airport Layout Plan.

GXY’s current Airport Master Plan was completed in 2014. Since that time, the Airport has experienced significant growth, new development, major infrastructure investments, and evolving long-term priorities. The new Master Plan will establish a long-range planning and implementation framework to guide the Airport’s development over the next 20 years.

The planning effort is anticipated to address aviation demand, airfield and facility needs, Runway 17/35 strengthening, the future Airport Traffic Control Tower, airport-wide drainage, compatible land use, terminal and hangar development, financial planning, future commercial service feasibility, and an updated FAA Airport Layout Plan.
