East 8th Street Closure

​The City of Greeley and contractor Martin Marietta, will begin on July 8th removing and replacing aging storm pipe that crosses 8th Street in five locations. This work is expected to last two weeks. During construction 8th Street will be closed at Balsam Avenue to Fern Avenue during construction hours. Hours of work are from 8AM to 8PM. The contractor will work Monday through Saturday to complete this project in two weeks. Detours have been designed to move traffic around the work sites. Please see the map for the 8th Street detour. The portion of 8th Street in front of the airport will be open to local traffic (airport tenants).
