The Greeley-Weld County Airport's state of the art general aviation terminal building sits in an inviting and beautifully landscaped surrounding. The terminal building is home Peak Flight Support, the Barnstormer Restaurant, and the administrative offices of the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority.
Immediately adjacent to the terminal is the EAA picnic pavilion, capable of accommodating group events of over 200 persons. The pavilion hosts a number of activities and events throughout each year, and is available for private parties as well.
The terminal apron provides more than 4 acres of transient aircraft parking, including a dedicated helipad, and offers direct access to the airport's FBO. A self serve fueling station for Avgas which is credit card operated, sits along the eastern edge of the terminal apron for 24 hour convenience.
The main lobby offers comfort in a high tech, yet elegant setting, and hosts a customer service center, pilot lounge, and second level mezzanine with a separate lounge and airfield observation area. The terminal lobby also offers a glimpse into aviation's past, with a display of historical aviation artifacts, and a tribute on the mezzanine level to Clarence F. "Red" Crosier, a WWII hero, who was instrumental in the establishment of the Greeley-Weld County Airport. Red Crosier was killed while piloting a B-26 Marauder on a D-Day invasion raid in 1944. His awards and medals are proudly displayed on the mezzanine level of the terminal lobby.
The pilot lounge and flight planning room offers computer internet access including wireless internet. A large TV with VCR/DVD combo lets itinerant flight crews remain entertained while they recline in soft leather furniture.
The conference room is available for public or private meetings, and can comfortably accommodate up to 50 persons in a variety of configurations. Additional seating capacity is available depending upon the configuration requirements of your meeting. Internet access is available in the conference room through a wireless internet connection.
The famous Barnstormer Restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch daily, and is also available for public or private parties. The restaurant provides a great view of the airfield, and offers on-site aircraft catering orders.
